Ramona wept bitterly. “How could he be so heartless? | always obeyed him. Doesn’t he care aboutat all? I'm
his own daughter!”
Aireanna gripped her daughter's hand fiercely. “Remember this: never trust men completely. If you marry
someday, never give your whole heart to him. Don’t follow my path.”
“I was too trusting, and it led to you and Wilorina being used. You're lucky, but Wilorina was taught from
childhood to please men. Her life is ruined.”
“Now that you're rescued, and Wilorina no longer has to work for Madison, she can chome,” Ramona
comforted, wiping her tears.
Aireanna sighed deeply. “She visitedonce. | told her to flee and save herself. But she said she works for that
witch not just to survive, but to climb the social ladder.”
“She questions why others can be high and mighty while she must stay beneath. Wilorina has strayed and her
thinking is twisted. But it’s not entirely her fault. Madison taught her to value power and wealth since childhood,
blinding her to everything else.”
The Ministry of Justice was in a frenzy today.
At Lance's order, all leaves were canceled.
Even Senior Prosecutor Ron, who had been on leave worrying about his position, rushed back in his formal
uniform upon learning of the treason case and Lance's request to reinstate him.
Madison and Hunt were brought to the Ministry.
Lance decided to interrogate Madison personally, while Deputy Minister Dennis handled Hunt. Other senior
prosecutors questioned the remaining staff, servants, and werewolf doctor from the manor.

Lance didn’t start the interrogation immediately. Instead, he had all the weapons from Madison’s manor moved
to the Ministry as evidence.
Meanwhile, the interrogation team began questioning the relevant individuals.
They worked until nightfall, barely managing to question a few people.
Lance then ordered round-the-clock shifts to ensure the interrogations continued

uninterrupted.
Dennis summarized the initial findings and reported to Lance.
Lance reviewed the testimonies and found little useful information.

He pulled out Hunt's testimony, which had many questions but few answers from Hunt, who mostly replied with
“I don’t know.”
Dennis said woefully, “No matter what | asked Hunt, all he said was that he didn’t know. He only admitted that
the women in the basement and the women under supervision in the backyard were his breeders. As for key
questions like the weapons stored in the manor and Madison's involvement in the treason, he claimed to be
unaware of them.”
“Without concrete evidence, Hunt wouldn't confess easily,” Lance said.
Lance set aside Hunt's testimony and looked at Rosa and Lacius’s statements. He asked Dennis, “Rosa has been
Madison's confidante for years, and Lacius is the captain of the werewolf warriors at Madison's manor. Did they
provide any useful information?”
Dennis replied, “Rosa seems severely shocked, muttering ‘impossible’ over and over. We couldn't get anything
useful from her. Lacius, on the other hand, shared quite a few details, mostly trivial. He mentioned Madison's
frequent associates and how she mistreated the breeders.”
“He said if the breeders gave birth, the babies were either abandoned or killed in various ways. Each breeder's
story is more tragic than the last. But regarding the weapons, he claims ignorance.”
“When did Lacius start working at Madison's manor?” Lance inquired.
“Five years ago,” Dennis answered, shuddering at Lacius’s revelations.
He continued, “Lacius also mentioned a well in the manor’s backyard filled with bones-of newborns and
deceased breeders alike.”
“We need to determine how many
people Madison has killed and

solemnly. “The treason case is
crucial, but justice must also be
served for those who suffered at
Madison's hands.” The content is on

“In other words, we haven't uncovered any critical leads so far,” Lance remarked, quickly scanning the werewolf
doctor's testimony.
